Dementia Friends Launching Ceremony
The Dementia Friends Launching Ceremony was held on 22 April, officiated by Mr Jeremy Hughes (Chief Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Society UK), Professor Sophia Chan (Under Secretary for Food and Health Bureau) and Ms Kara Wai, Best Actress of Film Awards, Dementia Friends Celebrity Ambassador.
Miss Kara Wai called for public to learn more about dementia, to identify dementia in its early stage and to seek for appropriate treatment. She encourages industries and general public to accept and support people living with dementia and their family caregivers.
Small acts can bring forth great transformation, Hong Kong can be a dementia friendly community for people living with dementia and their family caregivers!
